Aktiv Wellness is all about active recreation and natural wellbeing in the mountains.
By means of gentle hikes and uncomplicated wellness exercises, it promotes good health, mobilizes inner strength and harmony through tranquility and reflection, and offers valuable health and wellness tips for you to employ after your return home.  What is more, all in complete harmony with nature and the traditional local culture of the Zillertal Arena.  Experience active recreation, peace and reflection amid the beautiful alpine setting of the Zillertal Arena.  Promote your health and wellbeing through gentle hikes and easy health and relaxation exercises  (available 21 June until 25 September 2010). All activities are led by professional AKTIVwellness trainers and are suitable for everyone.  The AKTIVwellness program is free of charge if you present a guest card from Gerlos or the Zillertal Arena!

Bergaktiv is a colorful fitness and vitality program for young and old.  Whether by sunshine or by rain, this program is available to all our guests. Bergaktiv offers a broad mountaineering and hiking program, ranging from laid-back beginners' hikes (incl. Nordic walking) to challenging tours that will have you "feeling the burn" in your thighs.  A high-ropes course, mountain bike tours, canyoning, rafting and theme hikes add the program's finishing touches.

The Bergaktiv program can also be booked by visitors not staying at participating establishments. In that case the price is € 140 per person/week or € 30 per person/day.

We should also mention that you will need sturdy shoes/boots for the hikes and a certain degree of good physical condition for the high-alpine tours.  Bikes for the bike tours, as well as hiking boots, rainwear, rucksacks and telescopic hiking poles can all be rented out at area sports stores.

 

RAINY-DAY PROGRAM - GERLOS:
If the weather happens not to cooperate, you will have the opportunity to participate in an indoor back-up program including lots of fun games, along with soothing and relaxing exercises.
