Special conditions for an extraordinary time. Concerning all bookings with arrival from 01.12.2020 to 15.04.2021


INFORMATION ABOUT TRAVEL INSUCRANCE

FREE for bookings that are cancelled up to 7 days prior to arrival 70% of the total amount for bookings that are cancelled 0-6 days prior to arrival as well as no-shows

FREE cancellation up to arrival day in the case of another shutdown, a quarantine order for Gerlos, or closure of our business “Apartments MILCHBAR” by authorities

Deposit: 70% of the total amount with receipt of payment to our account up to 14 days prior to arrival


Your safety is important to us:

  • Special hygiene measures and disinfection of your apartment and all public spaces
  • Online check-in prior to arrival is possible
  • Digital guest directory with all information about Gerlos and our apartments
  • Mouth-nose protection as well as disinfection dispensers are available at the entrance
  • We no longer shake hands, but we welcome you with a warm, heartfelt smile

 

What you can do:

  • Keep a distance of 1 meter from other people
  • Wear mouth-nose protection in the halls, shops, public transportation
  • Wash and disinfect hands
  • If you feel sick, please stay in your apartment and notify us immediately

Travel insurance

We recommend that you check whether your travel insurance covers Covid-19. Otherwise, you can get insurance here: https://start.europaeische.at/index.php?key=hsp&agencyNumber=10015751

 

Cancellation protection exists:

  • Because you get COVID-19 symptoms
  • Because your temperature runs high even if a later test result is negative
  • Because you tested positive for COVID-19 without showing symptoms
  • Because a close relative (*) or someone living in the same household has contracted COVID-19 and your presence is urgently required
  • Because a close relative (*) in the same household had contracted COVID-19 and you must therefore quarantine
  • Because you are unable to travel during your stay due to illness and must therefore extend your stay. There is coverage for involuntary vacation extension

 

However, there is no cancellation protection:

  • If you are unable or don’t want to travel because you are worried about infection due to an increasing number of cases in your holiday destination
  • If you are unable or don’t want to travel because you are classified as a high-risk patient
  • If the hotel can no longer provide services because the business has been officially closed or if the hotel is located in an area for which a travel warning has been issued
  • If you can’t travel because you must be in quarantine as a caution in the event of a suspected case (for ex. in school or a group of colleagues). Insurance also doesn’t cover the costs of quarantine for the entire hotel or quarantine costs in a separate quarter.
